Randy Carlson

Randy’s passion for craft started when his grandfather gave him the lifelong wisdom to “always choose craftsmanship and quality over price”. This advice served him well in his brand and innovation roles with Diageo, PepsiCo and Ralston, where he learned from and led some of the best practitioners in the business. He now looks after Vermont’s oldest craft distillery, serving like-minded members of the Craft Spirits community who value the hard work that creates hand-made moments of happiness that can only be found in small distilleries.  Most days he’s in Vermont or his Connecticut home, where his wife raised their two daughters and son (he helped).  Randy is a private pilot, making all of New England just a quick “Vermont commute” away.
