The Hill, one of Washington D.C.’s premier publications covering Congress, the Administration and politics, named two Distilled Spirits Council lobbyists on its 2015 Association Top Lobbyists List.  Mark Gorman, Senior Vice President, Office of Government Relations, and David Culver, Vice President, Office of Government Relations, were the only lobbyists included who represent beverage alcohol associations.

“This is a well-deserved honor for our team,” said Distilled Spirits Council President and CEO Peter H. Cressy.  “They have worked tirelessly on behalf of the distilled spirits industry to ensure fair and equitable treatment for our companies and their consumers.”

This year saw the introduction of a several significant distilled spirits tax cut bills, along with the successful conclusion of important regulatory issues.

“Whether tax, trade or regulatory issues, the Distilled Spirits Council lobbying team has been at the forefront of defending the industry,” added Cressy.

The Hill is read by opinion leaders, Congressional offices, the White House, political pundits, association executives, lobbyists and corporate leaders.
