Ainsley Giglierano

Ainsley Giglierano

Vice President of Public Affairs & State Policy

Ainsley joined DISCUS from Capitol Hill, where she served as communications director for multiple members of Congress in their personal offices. She also went on to serve as the communications director for a caucus of more than 140 members — one of the largest voting blocks in Congress. In that role, Ainsley crafted and coordinated strategic messaging for all caucus member offices, working closely with members of Congress, their staff and the national media to ensure a clear and effective presentation of the caucus’ message. For the Distilled Spirits Council, Ainsley is part of the public affairs team where she manages advocacy communications both on the state and federal levels. She also serves as part of the state government relations team as the lobbyist for Colorado. She has extensive experience in strategic communications planning, campaign execution and policy promotion.

Ainsley received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia and received her master’s degree in public relations and corporate communications from Georgetown University.

Outside of the office, Ainsley likes to travel, try new restaurants around the city and listen to live music. She is also an avid Georgia (UGA) fan and can be found yelling “Go Dawgs!” throughout the fall. Ainsley is originally from Monroe, Louisiana.

Ainsley’s favorite drink? “Belle Meade Sherry Cask Bourbon (neat), rye whiskey in a classic old fashioned, or mezcal in an old fashioned – take your pick!”
