Director, Legal and Regulatory Policy

Casey has supported the DISCUS Legal Department’s advocacy efforts since 2012, specializing in regulatory reform and compliance issues related to the Tax and Trade Bureau, Customs and Border Protection, and the Food and Drug Administration. He also helps manage DISCUS’ Code of Responsible Practices and the Fire Protection Manual, two critical documents guiding our industry. He has obtained a Master of Science degree in Justice, Law, and Society from American University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from Ithaca College.

Something you should know about Casey? Originally from Connecticut (always a New Englander at heart), he has lived and worked in the Washington, D.C. area since 2010. He is the proud owner of two fluffy cats and enjoys traveling the globe with his wife.
