Colleen Terry

​Director of Advocacy

Colleen joined our public policy team after earning her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with Minors in Business and Spanish from James Madison University, where she also worked as a Resident Adviser and then as a Hall Director in the Office of Residence Life. Colleen interned in the Communications department at Responsibility.org before joining the DISCUS Team in 2019.

Colleen’s favorite drink? Rye whiskey sour.

Something you should know about Colleen? “I love to sing and travel to new places. These two passions culminated in one trip in particular when I had the privilege of singing for the Pope in Rome!”
