David King

Senior Director of Information Technology

David serves as DISCUS’ IT guru, where he ensures the staff have the equipment and software needed to serve our members. A Washington, DC-area native, David has a degree in economics from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Prior to his six years at DISCUS, he spent 20 years at the National Press Club, where he served as operations manager. IF you ask nicely, he’ll tell you about his celebrity run-ins.

David’s favorite drink? Bourbon on the rocks.

Something you should know about David? “When I’m not at work, you can find me on one of my bicycles – whether it be flowing some sweet singletrack on my mountain bike, enjoying the scenery along the C&O canal on my gravel grinder or trying to ruin radar guns on my road bike.”
