Raised in the Pacific Northwest, Jason boasts over 25 years of experience in the food and beverage industry. Notably, he is celebrated for his role in crafting the renowned Lay’s Potato Vodka at Eastside Distilling and developing various ready-to-drink brands. His skillful artistry in blending spirits has garnered him numerous accolades, leading him across the country to be named the Master Distiller for Tropical Distillery in Miami, Florida.

In his role as Master Distiller, Ericson takes on a multifaceted position, overseeing every aspect of production, development, quality testing, sampling, raw material sourcing, malting, fermentation, distillation, maturation, blending, and bottling for all of the distillery’s products. He has also played a pivotal role in conceiving and designing J.F. Haden’s Craft Liqueurs.

With his unwavering dedication, expertise, and a true passion for the art of spirits and gastronomy, Jason stands out as one of the youngest individuals to ever hold the prestigious title of Master Distiller. He infuses the team with his trailblazing spirit, further strengthening Tropical Distillery’s commitment to crafting uniquely original craft spirits.
