Emily has been with DISCUS since 2006 and on the State Government Relations team since 2008, where she provides policy analysis and research on alcohol issues in all 50 states. She graduated from Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland, with a major in English and minor in Music.

Emily’s favorite drink? “Bourbon is my favorite, but I enjoy trying any kind of innovative cocktails at bars and restaurants around D.C.”

Something you should know about Emily? She loves dogs and supporting local animal rescue.
