The Distilled Spirits Council looks forward to working with the Trump administration to expand access for U.S. agricultural exports, including distilled spirits, in foreign markets.

Distilleries across the country benefit greatly from improved access to foreign consumers.  In fact, U.S. distilled spirits exports more than doubled over the past decade, reaching almost $1.6 billion in 2015, and generated thousands of local manufacturing and farming jobs.

Bilateral and multilateral trade negotiations offer an important – and in some cases the only – means to ensure our nation’s distillers, small and large, are able to gain access and compete in foreign markets.
