Bob Budoff

Senior Vice President, Legal and Regulatory Affairs

Bob has served our members for more than 30 years. Starting as Associate General Counsel for the first three years, Bob became DISCUS’ Assistant General Counsel – a position he held for 26 years. In 2019, Bob earned the role of Senior Vice President of State Government Affairs, where he uses his decades of expertise to guide our members through our industry’s labyrinth of rules and regulations at the state level.

Prior to joining DISCUS, Bob was in private law practice after several years at the U.S. International Trade Commission.

A graduate of Georgetown University Law Center, J.D. (cum laude) and Hamilton College, B.A., Bob likes his bourbon neat, has been a dedicated runner for over 40 years, is an avid racquetball player and has held leadership positions in various community nonprofits for decades.
