Hannah Cooper

Director of Grassroots

Hannah oversees our organization’s grassroots efforts and leads our Spirits United advocacy platform on behalf of the industry, where she effectively mobilizes thousands of spirits industry leaders, employees, supporters and consumers to advance our industry’s policy agenda on a state and federal level.

Before joining DISCUS, Hannah began her career leading grassroots advocacy efforts for Smiths Group plc, a multinational diversified engineering business serving the health care, energy, security, defense, and aerospace markets. She graduated from Westminster College in Fulton, MO with bachelors’ degrees in both Political Science and International Relations.

Hannah’s favorite drink? Rye Manhattan, up.

Something you should know about Hannah? “I was a military brat and attended ten different schools. I shared a very exciting car ride with Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown one time.”
