Kim Eastman

Industry Education Director

Kim joins DISCUS as our Industry Education Director with a passion for education and marketing. She has over 20 years of experience creating both in-person and virtual educational experiences as well as guiding professional development initiatives. Prior to joining DISCUS, Kim served as the Director of Professional Development at the Arizona Society of CPAs. She gained valuable experience in planning conferences, securing speakers, managing volunteers, overseeing contracts, developing marketing copy and creating the annual education calendar. Kim earned her bachelor’s degree in Marketing with a minor in Spanish from the University of North Alabama and a master’s degree in Education from the University of Phoenix.

Kim’s favorite drink? A Cosmopolitan with Grey Goose vodka!

Something you should know about Kim? I recently completed a teaching contract in Budapest, Hungary where I taught English for 10 months. I lived in the DC area before, and my sister actually works in our building so you may mistake her for me!
