Kyna Ricks

Controller

Kyna has served in various financial roles at DISCUS for over 5 years, rising quickly from Junior Accountant to Accountant, then Accountant & HR Manager before earning her current position as the organization’s Controller in 2019. After receiving her B.S. in accounting from University of Maryland Global Campus, Kyna went on to earn a Master of science in financial management with a focus in accounting from University of Maryland Global Campus.

Kyna’s favorite drink? A classic bourbon old fashioned.

Something you should know about Kyna?  “Although I work with numbers, I am an avid science lover. I lead science club at my daughter’s school and tutor science. I’m also an avid fitness enthusiast and lead an online fitness and workout platform.”
